Barnes Bullets TSX .458 300gr Flat Base - 20/Box

The Barnes TSX flat base bullet is the original Triple-Shock X design that established Barnes Bullets as a pioneer of premium all-copper hunting projectiles. This .458 caliber projectile is built around a 300 grain solid copper hollow point with a flat base profile, machined from a single copper alloy to deliver reliable expansion across a wide velocity range without the fragmentation hazards of traditional lead-core bullets.

Engineered for hunting, the TSX uses three precision-cut rings - the Triple-Shock - that initiate consistent expansion and drive the recovered petal pattern deep into the target. The bullet is cannelured for positive crimp seating, measures 1.048" OAL, and carries a G1 ballistic coefficient of .163 with a sectional density of .204, placing it firmly in heavy-for-caliber territory favored for big-bore .458" diameter rifle cartridges.

All-copper construction eliminates lead exposure at the range, dramatically reduces barrel fouling compared to jacketed lead-core designs, and retains nearly 100% of bullet weight on impact for straight, deep penetration. Each box contains 20 bullets. These are unloaded projectiles intended for handloaders - they are not loaded ammunition.
