The Barnes TSX line of premium hunting projectiles is built around the patented Triple-Shock X expanding hollow point. This .308 diameter (30 Caliber) boat tail variant tips the scales at 168 grains and is machined from a single piece of solid copper with three precisely engineered expanding grooves at the nose. The all-copper TSX drives reliable petal expansion on impact and is engineered to deliver 28% deeper penetration than comparable lead-core projectiles while retaining nearly its full starting weight, with no fragmentation.

Each hollow point features a cannelure for positive case seating during handloading, a ballistic coefficient of .404, and a sectional density of .253. The bullet measures 1.316" overall length, and the boat tail profile aids in ballistic efficiency and consistency downrange. The TSX is intended for hunting use in rifle applications where deep, straight-line penetration and reliable weight retention matter most.
