The Barnes TSX is a premium 22-caliber rifle bullet from Barnes Bullets' legendary Triple-Shock X line, designed for handloaders who want real all-copper performance on the hunting grounds.

This TSX Boat Tail projectile is built from 100% solid copper with a .224" diameter and a 70 gr weight, giving it a .323 ballistic coefficient and a .199 sectional density. The all-copper construction eliminates fragmentation and delivers approximately 28% deeper penetration than comparable lead-core bullets, while the hollow-point tip initiates reliable expansion with near-perfect weight retention.

A cannelure locks the bullet securely in place during resizing and loading, and the boat-tail base improves down-range ballistics by reducing drag and stabilizing the bullet in flight. Barnes recommends a 1:8" twist or faster for proper stabilization of this 70-gr TSX BT, and load data is published for cartridges such as the .22-250 Remington and other .224" wildcats and standards.

Each box contains 50 bullets. Because they are made entirely of copper these projectiles are lead-free and compliant with lead-restricted hunting areas. Designed primarily for hunting applications, they are well suited to varmints, predators, and medium game where deep, consistent penetration is essential.
