The Barnes Bullets Tipped TSX is a premium 8mm hunting projectile built around an all-copper body with a polymer tip and a boat-tail base. Designed for serious handloaders chasing large game, this 160 grain bullet carries Barnes' proven Triple-Shock X expansion technology and pairs it with a streamlined profile that helps 8mm rifle cartridges hold velocity and energy at distance.

Like the original TSX, the Tipped TSX (TTSX) uses a 100% copper construction with multiple grooves cut into the shank for consistent, controlled expansion and excellent weight retention. The addition of a polymer tip boosts the ballistic coefficient to .4, improves initiation reliability, and helps the bullet resist tip deformation during feeding and seating. A factory cannelure provides a positive stop for consistent seating depth across handloads, while the boat-tail design delivers a more efficient flight path downrange.
