The Barnes Tipped TSX in .338 caliber is a lead-free, monolithic copper hunting bullet built for deep penetration and rapid, consistent expansion on big game. A polymer tip boosts the ballistic coefficient and initiates expansion on impact, while four razor-sharp cutting petals deploy to create a wide wound channel with virtually complete weight retention.

This 160 grain TTSX bullet features a flat base profile with a cannelure for secure seating and a 1.215" overall length. The 100% copper body eliminates a separate jacket and core, leaving nothing but copper to travel through game. With a G1 ballistic coefficient of .342 and a sectional density of .200, this bullet is well suited for magnum-class .338 rifle applications, with published load data for 338 Winchester Magnum.
