The Barnes Tipped TSX (TTSX) is a high-performance 270 Win hunting bullet built around a 100% solid copper body with multiple grooved rings cut into the shank and a polymer tip for improved ballistic coefficient and reliable expansion. Designed as a lead-free reloading projectile for North American big game, the TTSX pairs the deep-driving penetration and near-100% weight retention of the original TSX with faster, more uniform upset on impact.

This 130 grain bullet features a .277" diameter, a boat tail base for improved downrange ballistic efficiency, and a cannelure for positive case mouth crimping during handloading. The re-engineered nose cavity and polymer tip work together to initiate rapid expansion, driving four razor-sharp cutting petals through game while the grooved shank and solid copper body deliver deep penetration and consistent weight retention.
