Barnes Bullets LRX Long Range 270 Win 129gr Polymer Tip Boat Tail - 50/Box

The Barnes LRX (Long-Range X) bullet is engineered for the accuracy and terminal performance serious long-range hunters demand. This 270 Win loading features a 129 grain projectile with a polymer tip and boat tail profile designed to retain velocity and resist wind drift at extended distances.

Each bullet uses an all-copper solid construction (both jacket and core are copper), making these projectiles completely lead-free. A cannelure is present to provide a positive crimp reference for handloaders. The bullet measures 1.340" OAL with a .277" diameter.

The LRX pairs a high ballistic coefficient of .463 with a sectional density of .240, helping the projectile maintain velocity and energy downrange for deep penetration on medium to large game. The recommended use is long range hunting on rifle platforms, where the bullet's high BC translates into a flatter trajectory and retained energy at distance.

Bullets are packaged 50 per box. As with all Barnes projectiles, handloaders should consult published Barnes load data for the 270 Winchester, and may need to experiment with bullet jump anywhere from .050" to .250" or more to find the accuracy node in their particular rifle.
