Barnes Bullets Expander MZ Muzzleloader 50 Cal 300gr Hollow Point 15-Rd

The Barnes Bullets Expander MZ is a muzzleloader projectile purpose-built for hunters pursuing big game with 50 caliber inline and traditional muzzleloading rifles. This is the muzzleloader-specific version of Barnes' legendary X-Bullet, engineered to deliver devastating terminal performance at muzzleloader velocities.

Each 300 grain projectile is 100% copper constructed with a large hollow cavity in the nose for rapid, reliable expansion. On impact, the bullet expands to roughly twice its original diameter, deploying six razor-sharp copper petals that create a wide wound channel while retaining the majority of the bullet's weight for deep penetration. The projectile measures 0.451" in diameter and carries a ballistic coefficient of 0.207 with a sectional density of 0.211.

Expander MZ projectiles are designed for the pressures and velocities of muzzleloader platforms, delivering consistent shot-to-shot performance across a wide range of black powder and pellet charges. Loaded to a muzzle velocity of 2200 fps, the 300 grain MZ Expander offers a 200+ yard maximum point-blank range with a six-inch kill zone, retaining 1525 fps at 200 yards for ethical harvests on deer-sized game and larger.

These projectiles are paired with a sabot for use in 50 caliber muzzleloader barrels. Each box contains 15 rounds of all-copper, hollow point muzzleloader projectiles from Barnes Bullets.
