The Ballistic Advantage Premium Series .223 Wylde 18" Fluted SPR Barrel is built for the AR-15 platform, machined from solid 416R stainless steel and finished with a bead blasted surface for a clean, matte appearance.

Chambered in the versatile .223 Wylde specification, the barrel accepts both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington cartridges. The 1:8" twist stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights, making this an excellent foundation for a precision carbine or DMR-style AR-15 build.

The SPR (Special Purpose Rifle) profile features a shoulder-less design that symmetrically limits barrel whip and allows the bore to quickly return to its home position between shots. Aggressive straight flutes are cut along the length for crisp, clean lines, and the barrel uses a rifle length gas system.

Each Premium Series barrel is HP/MPI tested at the factory to verify structural integrity and headspace. Sights are not included - this barrel is intended for installation into any standard AR-15 upper with the free-float handguard and sighting system of your choice.
