Auto Ordnance 1911 Red Tails 45 ACP 5" 7+1 Semi-Auto Pistol

The Auto Ordnance 1911 Red Tails is a 45 ACP commemorative pistol built as part of Auto Ordnance's Winged Warriors Series, paying tribute to the legendary Tuskegee Airmen of World War II and their iconic P-51C Mustang fighters. This full-size GI-spec 1911 follows the classic single-action semi-automatic layout with a traditional single-stack magazine well and a 7+1 capacity.

A 5" stainless steel barrel rides in a full-size steel frame fitted with an extended beavertail grip safety. Both the steel frame and the serrated slide are finished in rugged Savage Cerakote, giving the pistol a distinctive non-reflective appearance well suited to display or carry. Custom engraved wood grips round out the presentation with a handsomely-figured, classic look on the shooter's side of the pistol.
