The Auto Ordnance 1911BKO9 brings the classic U.S. military 1911 A1 GI Spec to the 9mm Luger chambering, delivering the familiar feel of a Government-size 1911 in an easier-shooting, lower-cost package. Built on the traditional single-action 1911 platform, this pistol is purpose-suited for personal protection and sport shooting.

A 5" stainless steel barrel rides in a matte black carbon steel slide with classic serrations, paired to a matching matte black carbon steel frame with an integrated beavertail grip safety. The GI-spec profile keeps the controls right where 1911 shooters expect them, with a manual thumb safety, a firing pin safety, and the standard 1911 grip safety completing the three-safety system. The slide wears a low-profile blade front sight and a drift-adjustable rear sight for straightforward target acquisition.

The pistol feeds from a nine-round single-stack magazine for a 9+1 total capacity and rides in brown checkered polymer grips for a secure hold. Overall length is 8.6" and unloaded weight is 39 oz. Made in the USA, the 1911BKO9 ships with one 9-round magazine.
