Each cartridge carries a 125 grain Lead Round Nose Flat Point (Lead-RNFP) bullet designed to break clay, knock down steel, and stay soft on the forcing cone and receiver of older handguns without the gas-cut jacket issues of cup-and-core designs.

A factory-rated muzzle velocity of approximately 700 fps meets the SASS minimum velocity standard, producing a measured 177 ft lbs of muzzle energy that keeps recoil light and follow-up shots quick during long strings of fire. The reloadable brass cases keep handloaders happy, and once fired this ammo doubles as economical practice fodder for the reloading bench.
