The ATN PS31-3HFW BNVD-51 is a compact, lightweight dual-tube night vision goggle system engineered as a modern replacement for the legacy PS-15. Built around two 1x 18mm optical channels with a 40-degree field of view, the PS-31 platform was designed to increase system resolution, significantly reduce head-borne weight, and improve the center of gravity for comfortable headborne use.

This variant, the PS31-3HFW, is built with high-performance Gen 3 Auto-Gated image intensifier tubes finished in white phosphor and rated at High FOM 2200+ for clean, high-contrast imagery in low-light conditions. The matte black housing keeps the unit discreet under night vision use, and a built-in infrared illuminator provides supplemental lighting when ambient light is insufficient.

Power is supplied by a single CR123A battery delivering up to 300 hours of runtime, while a -5 to +5 diopter adjustment allows precise focus to the user's eye. At just 1.28 lbs, the PS-31 keeps fatigue to a minimum during extended headborne use.
