The ATN PS31-2 is a compact, lightweight dual-tube binocular night vision device (BNVD) engineered as a modern replacement for the legacy PS-15. Built around two Gen 2+ green phosphor image intensifier tubes, it delivers crisp 1x magnification through an 18mm objective for hands-free walking, short-range surveillance, map reading, weapon firing, and vehicle operation in low-light and no-light environments.

Each tube provides 58-60 Ip/mm resolution and a wide 40-degree field of view, with a usable focus range from 25 yards to infinity and a -5 to +5 diopter adjustment so the image can be fine-tuned to the shooter's eye. The housing is finished in matte black and is water and weather resistant for reliable field use, with an overall length of just 4.40 inches for a low-profile, helmet-friendly footprint.

A built-in infrared (IR) illuminator supplies active illumination when ambient light is insufficient for passive operation, and the unit runs on a single widely available CR123A battery for up to 300 hours. The PS31-2 can be used handheld, head-mounted, or helmet-mounted, making it a versatile platform for tactical professionals, law enforcement, and dedicated night shooters alike.
