Armaspec B2 Extended Mag Release AR-15/AR-10 FDE Skeletonized

The Armaspec B2 Extended Magazine Release is a skeletonized drop-in upgrade designed to lengthen the factory magazine release paddle on AR-15 and AR-10 pattern rifles. Milled from lightweight aluminum and finished in FDE (Flat Dark Earth), the B2 blends with most popular rifle builds while adding a more positive, glove-friendly release surface.

The skeletonized paddle is engineered as a direct replacement for the mil-spec magazine catch paddle. Its extended geometry lets the operator drop the magazine without breaking firing grip or shifting the support hand, making it a meaningful upgrade for competition shooters, tactical users, and anyone running gloves. The skeletonized cutout keeps the added weight to a mere 0.14 oz, so there is essentially no mass penalty on the lower receiver.

Installation is straightforward: drive out the existing magazine catch paddle pin and factory paddle, then install the B2 Extended Paddle in its place. The B2 is compatible with both 5.56/.223 and 7.62/.308 AR-pattern lower receivers. Armaspec also offers the B2 in Black, Red, OD Green, and Blue for color-coordinated builds.
