The Armasight Sidekick 640 is a palm-sized thermal imaging monocular built around a 12-micron, 640x480 high-sensitivity infrared detector paired with a high-resolution 1024x768 OLED display. Designed for scouting, tracking, and security work, it delivers smooth imaging via a fast 60Hz frame rate in a compact package weighing under 250 grams.

Optically, the Sidekick 640 offers fixed 1x magnification through a 19mm objective lens with a 24.16 x 17.37 degree field of view. For closer inspection of distant heat signatures, the unit provides 1x-4x digital zoom along with a selection of multiple reticles. Diopter adjustment spans -5 to +5, and the optic is focusable out to 709 meters.

The housing is finished in black anodized hardcoat for field durability. Power comes from a single CR123A battery with approximately 1 hour of runtime. The compact form factor supports handheld observation and is also compatible with helmet mounting for hands-free use.
