At the heart of the Jockey 640 is Armasight's ArmaCORE 640 x 480 12um thermal core, paired with a 25mm objective lens and a 1-4x magnification range. The unit runs at a smooth 60 Hz refresh rate with an industry-leading thermal sensitivity of NETD less than 40mK, detecting human-sized heat signatures out to approximately 932 meters. Imagery is rendered on a crisp 1024 x 768 OLED display, delivering excellent contrast and detail across a wide range of environmental conditions.

The Jockey 640 is purpose-built for the field. Multiple color palettes let the user tailor the image to the task, while Image Detail Enhancement sharpens target definition and the simplified alignment process makes pairing the clip-on with your day scope straightforward. The unit is powered by two CR123A batteries, providing approximately 4 hours of runtime at 20 degrees C. Intuitive 3-button controls keep operation simple even in the dark, and the housing is constructed to withstand hard field use.
