The Area 419 Firearms Improved Scope Rail (ISR) is a one-piece Picatinny scope base purpose-built for the Remington 700 Short Action rifle. Machined from a single billet of 7075 aluminum with a low-glare matte black finish, this rail delivers the rigidity and repeatability precision shooters demand while integrating cleanly with the factory action. Cut to MIL-STD-1913 specifications with a 20 MOA built-in forward cant, the full-slotted ISR gives you extra elevation adjustment for long-range dialing while accommodating any standard Picatinny or Weaver-style ring set. All edges are radiused for a clean, snag-free profile, and the integrated ejection port cut blends seamlessly into the Remington 700 action, providing plenty of clearance for top-loading ADL-style rifles.

An integral machined recoil lug locks the rail to the receiver for a no-shift return to zero, even under hard-recoiling magnum loads. The ISR ships complete with (4) 6-48 and (4) 8-40 Torx screws plus the required Torx wrench, so it is ready to mount right out of the box with no gunsmithing or modification required.
