Area 419 Firearms Improved Scope Rail Rem 700 Short Action 30 MOA Full Slotted 1913 Base

The Area 419 Improved Scope Rail (ISR) is a one-piece scope base precision-machined from 7075 aluminum and finished in a low-glare matte black. Purpose-built for Remington 700 Short Action receivers, this rail provides a rigid MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny mounting platform for riflescopes and accessories.

This "Full Slotted" (FS) configuration runs slots along the entire length of the rail, giving you maximum flexibility in scope ring placement and the ability to clamp accessories anywhere along the top. The rail also delivers a built-in 30 MOA of elevation cant, which extends usable elevation travel for long-range shooting applications.

The "Improved" in ISR comes from the integral machined recoil lug that is built directly into the bottom of the rail for positive recoil engagement. Compatible with #6 and #8 screws, the rail installs on your rifle with no modification required.
