The Apex Tactical Specialties Forward Set Sear & Trigger Kit (PN 100067) is a drop-in trigger upgrade purpose-built for the Smith & Wesson M&P in 9mm Luger and 40 S&W (excluding M2.0 pistols). Apex engineered this kit to relocate the trigger break point farther forward than the factory assembly, producing a noticeably shorter, crisper pre-travel and over-travel while reducing overall trigger pull weight.

The sear and trigger are machined from aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in black hard anodized for durability and corrosion resistance. Apex includes two trigger return springs so the end user can dial in their preferred pull weight right out of the box - the silver spring delivers a roughly 4.0 lb pull and the second spring delivers a roughly 5.0 lb pull.

Installation is straightforward: the kit drops into the existing M&P frame using the factory pins and components. No permanent modifications or gunsmithing are required, and the trigger can be returned to factory configuration at any time.
