The American Precision Arms Gen 2 Micro Bastard is a compact, self-timing muzzle brake precision-machined from stainless steel and purpose-built for 30 Cal AR-platform rifles and hunting rifles threaded 1/2"-28.

The Gen 2 update to APA's popular Bastard brake series employs a self-clocking design that properly orients the brake on the barrel without the need for a crush washer, making installation straightforward and repeatable. The Micro profile keeps things compact at just 1.86" overall length with a .750" outer diameter, allowing the brake to tuck neatly under most free-float handguards while still delivering effective recoil reduction and muzzle rise control.
