The Akkar 628 Meat Stick is a purpose-built pump-action field shotgun chambered in 28 Gauge with a 3-inch chamber, a 28-inch barrel topped with a ventilated rib, and a full-coverage Mossy Oak Blades camouflage finish. Built around a matte-finished 28-inch barrel, the 628 Meat Stick accepts both 2-3/4" and 3" shells and ships with five extended choke tubes for tuning shot patterns. A ventilated rib runs the length of the barrel to dissipate heat and provide a clean sight plane, while a single front bead sits at the muzzle for fast target acquisition in the marsh.

The field-style polymer stock and forearm feature molded checkering for positive grip in wet conditions, and the lightweight package comes in at roughly 6.14 lbs.
