AK Rear Trunnion Side Folder Latch Lock Pin

The AK Rear Trunnion Side Folder Latch Lock Pin is a vital component in the mechanism of AK rifles equipped with side-folding stocks. This pin plays a key role in securing the latch lock in place, ensuring the stability and reliability of the side-folding stock in both the folded and extended positions.

Key features and functions of the AK Rear Trunnion Side Folder Latch Lock Pin include:

1. Latch Lock Engagement: The pin is designed to secure the latch lock in its engaged position, providing a locking mechanism that keeps the side-folding stock securely folded to the side. This is crucial for compact storage and transport of the firearm.

2. Stability in Folded Position: When the side-folding stock is folded, the latch lock pin prevents unintentional movement or unfolding. This ensures that the stock remains securely in the folded position, maintaining a compact profile and preventing any rattling or shifting during transport.

3. Stability in Extended Position: In the extended position, the latch lock pin contributes to the stability of the side-folding stock, preventing any play or wobbling. This is essential for maintaining accuracy and control while using the firearm.

4. Durability: Constructed from durable materials, such as steel, the latch lock pin is designed to withstand the forces and stresses associated with the operation of the side-folding stock. Its robust construction contributes to the overall durability and longevity of the firearm.

5. User-Friendly Maintenance: The design of the latch lock pin allows for straightforward maintenance and replacement if necessary. This user-friendly aspect aligns with the AK platform's reputation for simplicity and ease of use.
