The AGM Global Vision PVS-14E AP is a rugged, lightweight, multi-purpose night vision monocular built on the battle-proven PVS-14 platform used by U.S. and allied forces. This Gen 2+ Auto-Gated unit is designed to deliver clean, high-contrast imagery in low-light and nighttime conditions while suppressing bright-light bloom that degrades older non-gated tubes.

Optics on the PVS-14E AP center on a 26mm f/1.2 objective paired with a fixed 1x magnification, producing a wide 40 degree field of view and a close focus distance of roughly 9.8 inches (0.25 m) out to infinity. The image tube produces a standard P43 green phosphor display with a resolution of 64-72 lp/mm, and the integrated built-in infrared (IR) illuminator provides supplemental lighting for use in total darkness or inside enclosed spaces.

Designed for field durability, the housing conforms to 810G Military standards and is fully waterproof. An auto bright-light shutoff protects the tube from damage, and ergonomic top-mounted controls make one-handed operation straightforward. The PVS-14E AP can be handheld, head-mounted, helmet-mounted, or weapon-mounted for hands-free use, and is compatible with standard PVS-14 accessories.

Power is flexible: the unit accepts one AA alkaline, one AA lithium (L91), or one CR123 lithium battery, with runtime of up to 40 hours on a single battery depending on chemistry and IR usage. The compact "E" form factor measures roughly 4.25 inches (108 mm) long and tips the scales at just 10.2 oz (290 g), making it comfortable for extended handheld or helmet-mounted carry.
