The AGM Global Vision PVS-14 3AL2 is a rugged, lightweight, multi-purpose night vision monocular built around a Gen 3 thin-filmed image intensifier tube with a Level 2 tube grade and a traditional Green Phosphor (P43) screen. Weighing in at under 12.4 ounces, the PVS-14 follows the well-established standard monocular form factor and serves as a full-featured night vision device for a wide range of nighttime tasks.

At the heart of the unit is a Gen 3 intensifier rated at 64-72 lp/mm resolution. The P43 Green Phosphor screen produces the classic NVG green image that many operators prefer for its contrast and depth perception in low-light conditions.

Optically, the PVS-14 runs a fixed 1x magnification through a fast 26mm F/1.2 lens system, producing a wide 40-degree field of view and a usable focus range from 0.25 meters to infinity. The close-focus capability makes the unit equally useful for map reading, equipment checks, and short-range tasks.

User controls include a manual gain knob to dial image brightness for changing ambient conditions, and an automatic bright light shut-off that protects the tube from sudden bright light exposure.
