The AGM Global Vision Comanche-40ER NW1 is a Gen 2+ White Phosphor Level 1 night vision clip-on system designed to mount in front of a daytime riflescope and convert it into a long-range night vision optic without re-zeroing. Rated for use with day scopes of up to 10x magnification, the Comanche-40ER pairs a quick-release mounting interface with a high-performance Gen 2+ image intensifier for hunters, tactical shooters, and professional users.
At the core of the unit is a Gen 2+ intensifier tube producing 51-64 lp/mm resolution, finished with a White Phosphor Level 1 coating that yields a crisp black-and-white image for improved target identification and reduced eye strain over traditional green phosphor tubes. The system runs at 1x magnification, offers a 9 degree field of view, and uses a generous 40mm exit pupil to align with a wide range of daytime optics.
Power is flexible and field-friendly - the Comanche-40ER runs on either a single CR123A or AA battery for up to 40 hours of operation, so spares are easy to source anywhere. The housing is finished in non-reflective black, weighs 2 lbs, and is rated for operating temperatures of -40C to +50C (-40F to +122F) with safe storage from -50C to +50C (-58F to +122F), ready for arctic cold and desert heat alike.
As part of AGM's NW1 series, the Comanche-40ER is built for shooters who want to extend their existing precision rig into the dark without giving up their zero, their cheek weld, or their daytime ballistics. The clip-on format preserves the daytime optic, rings, and stock fit exactly as set up during the day.
