The Advanced Technology X1 is a purpose-built recoil-reducing pistol grip designed for the AR-15 and AR-10 platform. It is molded from DuPont Zytel polymer and finished in Flat Dark Earth to match popular FDE rifle builds, with a suregrip rubber overmold and finger grooves for a secure, slip-resistant hold in wet, dry, or rough conditions.

Internally, the X1 uses a recoil-absorbing material designed to capture the initial shock wave of each shot, smoothing out the felt punch the shooter feels on the firing hand without altering the rifle's balance point. ATI rates the grip as scratchproof and weatherproof, making it well suited to hard field use, range days, and tactical or competition applications alike.

Installation is straightforward: the X1 drops onto any standard mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver using the factory pistol-grip screw and locking ring.
