The 3M Peltor Sport RangeGuard is an entry-level electronic hearing protector built for the range and the field. With a 21 dB Noise Reduction Rating, the RangeGuard suppresses dangerous impulse noise like gunfire while amplifying ambient sounds and conversation, making it easy to hear range commands and talk with shooting partners without removing the muffs.

Designed around a low-profile polymer cup with cut-outs that clear rifle and shotgun stocks, the RangeGuard keeps clearance issues to a minimum. An adjustable padded headband and a redesigned earcup shape provide a comfortable fit across a wide range of head sizes, including smaller adults.

Active electronics are at the core of the design.
