The Hiviz AR2008 is a tactical rifle front sight built for the AR-15 and M4 platform. It drops directly onto rifles equipped with an A-frame or folding front sight, including both fixed and detachable carbine-style front sight bases, giving shooters a fast, fiber-optic-assisted sight picture for rapid target acquisition.

The sight features a rugged steel post with a black finish and HiViz's signature LitePipe technology. The front sight ships with four interchangeable LitePipes - two green and two red - so the end user can swap color profiles to match lighting conditions or personal preference. The LitePipes gather ambient light and channel it into a bright, high-contrast aiming point that pulls the eye to the front sight faster than a standard black post.

Also in the box is a carrying case to keep the spare LitePipes organized, a sight wrench, and a LitePipe removal tool / key for swapping the light pipes in the field.
