It came out much better then I was expecting it has a very good bored with great rifling. It came with the original sling, sight protector, and cleaning rod. Mostly matching to. Overall great purchase and worth extra Over a Russian capture k98.
Bought the one with the non-matching bolt, but the safety lever, and the bolt shroud matched the gun, wasn’t sure if part of the bolt was damaged and they just put the needed parts to make it operational. Everything else matched, didn’t see any serial numbers on the stock, but several German inspection marks . Got the sight hood, cleaning rod and sling. Bore looks very good, haven’t cleaned it yet. Very happy with my purchase, I may spend the extra and get the all matching next time.
I have Purchased multiple Portugues's contract m937B k98’s from them. These are some of the best war time produced K98’s to be imported in the last 30 plus years. The overall condition of these rifles is very good, with matching bolts, and different matching metal parts on the rifle. The stock does not match the metal parts on the rifle, but the stock and hand guard do match each other. The bores on the majority of these rifles look amazing. They all come with original WW2 sight hoods slings and cleaning rods. This is a must have for anyone wishing to own a correct Mauser 1941 made K98, all parts are Waffenamt with Mauser code Waa655. I have ordered both online and shopped for these in their store. I am 100% satisfied with my experience with customer service and these rifles. THANKS!
My gun came with a sling, cleaning rod, and sight hood. The only mismatch parts are the bolt, stock, cleaning rod, and two action screws that hold in the trigger guard. The stock has visible markings, such as the waffenampts, "H", and remnants of the Portuguese crest. The bore on my example is fabulous. I did not take it out of the stock yet, but I expect some corrosion at the wood line. Overall I'm ecstatic about getting the rifle that I did!
Very pleased. Wood was great no cracks. Medal finish was very good nice bluing. Came with sling cleaning rod and sight hood. All matching except bolt
Just picked up my K98 from the FFL, must say it’s a nice rifle in good shape with a very clean bore, only issue was the safety was missing on the bolt
Overall condition of the one I received is good, and pretty close in condition to the one on the website. The stock is not dinged that much and the waffenampts are still legible. Metal still retains a good amount of bluing except on the barrel bands. Bore has visible rifling and is almost shot out but not quite. Some of the copper jacket is visible when I do the bullet test. Mine came with a sling. Overall happy with this unique K98 variant.
