The K98k was the primary rifle for the German Wehrmacht during World War II. After World War I, Germany began selling rifles to Portugal around 1931. Early contracts featured beautifully blued Mauser rifles with Portuguese crests. In the 1940s, Portugal received K98k replicas, similar to the 1941 Nazi K98k, but some were diverted to German service due to wartime losses. To compensate, Germany reclaimed K98k rifles from the Wehrmacht in 1942-1943 and delivered them to Portugal. These rifles bear the Portuguese crest and resemble the 1941 Mauser Oberndorf K98k Wehrmacht-issue rifles with Nazi markings.
Experience the historical prowess of the K98 German Made M937B Mauser 8mm featuring the iconic Portugese Crest. This meticulously crafted firearm carries the legacy of German engineering and Portuguese history. The robust 8mm Mauser chambering ensures reliable performance, making it a prized possession for collectors and shooting enthusiasts. Own a piece of the past with this remarkable and iconic rifle.

She's a Beauty! Great condition!
I've been looking for a reasonably priced Mauser for quite a while. I wanted one in good condition, as she will be a range gun. This piece is a wonderful part of history and is in great shape. Shiney, clean bore. Nice, original bluing. Furniture has no cracks. Will make a great shooter. Came with original sling. She was sent initially without a front sight hood. I wrote to centerfire and the mailed one out rapidly. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Kar98K Portuguese Mauser Contract
Wow! What a great purchase! I spent months online researching K98K Mausers, and after seeing so many frauds and defaced examples, I settled on yours. Clear Waffenamts and eagle and swastika proof marks, lots of original blueing convinced me. I encourage any fence sitters out there to hurry up and buy one before they’re all gone!
