Original Czech 7.62x39mm vz. 58 Koště Rifle Parts Kit w/ Wood Stock

Developed beginning in 1956 to replace the vz. 52 self-loading rifle, the vz. 58 rifle is a selective fire gas-operated weapon. While externally the vz. 58 resembles the Soviet AK-47, it is a different design based on a short-stroke gas piston and shares no parts with Kalashnikov rifles.

The vz. 58, known as the "Košt∆í√µ" ("broom"), entered service in 1958 and over a period of 25 years (until 1984), was fielded by the armed forces of Czechoslovakia, Cuba and several Asian and African nations.
