The Viridian HS1 is a purpose-built AR hand stop with an integrated laser sighting device, designed to give shooters a single combined solution for support-hand indexing and rapid target acquisition. Finished in Flat Dark Earth and engineered to sit low on the rail, the HS1 replaces a conventional hand stop with an aiming system that does not require a separate optic or light to provide a precise point of aim.
This HS1 variant is configured for Picatinny rail mounting and emits an infrared (IR) laser beam for use with night vision equipment. The unit runs on a single CR1/3N battery and is rated for 100 yards in daylight and up to 2 miles at night when paired with night vision. Grip-activated buttons are placed for natural thumb pressure so the laser can be turned on and off without breaking firing grip, while adjustable windage and elevation allow the beam to be zeroed to the host firearm.
At roughly 6.1 inches long and 1.3 inches tall, the HS1 indexes the support hand ahead of the magazine well on a standard AR handguard while keeping the laser positioned close to the bore for a clean sight picture. Whether run as a primary aiming reference in low light with night vision or used alongside a primary magnified optic for close-range transitions, the HS1 brings an integrated, low-profile laser solution to the modern AR platform.
