It drops into place of the pistol's factory top strap, providing a stable mounting platform for a red dot, reflex sight, or scope without requiring permanent gunsmithing.

Machined from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and finished in non-reflective matte black, this base measures approximately 5" long and weighs just 6.4 oz. It features a Weaver-style cross-slot pattern that accepts standard Weaver rings and is not compatible with Browning ring sets.
