The Birchwood Casey 41450 Premium Carbon Cleaning Rod is built for shooters who run .338 caliber through .50 caliber rifles and need a stiff, reliable one-piece rod that will not flex or whip in a long magnum bore. This 56-inch rod is purpose-built for big-bore hunting rifles and precision magnums where ordinary coated-steel rods simply are not long enough or rigid enough for the job.
At the core of the 41450 is a durable one-piece premium carbon shaft that delivers the rigidity needed to push patches and brushes through a long magnum bore without flexing. The rotating handle end is fitted with a perfect-fit aluminum handle and dual ball bearings that let the rod spin smoothly inside the barrel as you work, so the patch follows the rifling instead of binding against it. A standard 8x32 thread at the tip accepts the most common bore brushes, jags, and patch holders for .338 to .50 caliber cleaning.
Built by Birchwood Casey as part of their Premium Carbon Cleaning Rod line, this New rod carries the brand's signature black and red color scheme and is intended for full-length cleaning of big-game and long-range rifles in calibers from .338 up through .50. Whether you are breaking down a muzzleloader, a big-game hunting rifle, or a long-barrel precision rig, the 41450 gives you the reach and smooth-rotation performance to get the bore truly clean.
