CMMG 55CA6D9 Ambidextrous Safety Selector AR-15/M16/M4 Black Steel

The CMMG 55CA6D9 Ambidextrous Safety Selector Kit is a drop-in upgrade for AR-15, M16, and M4 platform lowers that lets left- and right-handed shooters operate the safety without breaking their firing grip. It replaces the factory right-side-only selector with a true ambidextrous assembly, giving both sides of the rifle a usable, deeply grooved lever.

The selector and accompanying hardware are CNC machined from solid steel bar stock and finished in a corrosion-resistant black coating. All parts meet or exceed mil-spec tolerances, so the kit installs cleanly into any standard mil-spec AR-pattern lower receiver with no permanent modifications. The assembly uses the familiar standard 90-degree throw found on factory AR-15 lowers.

Installation is straightforward: drop the existing safety selector detent, spring, and selector out of the lower, swap in the ambidextrous selector and included hardware, and reassemble. The CMMG 55CA6D9 is compatible with all AR-15 lower receivers and most AR-10 pattern lowers, making it an easy, functional upgrade for nearly any modern sporting rifle build.
