The Thompson Center Arms 2040R Encore Cross-Slot Base is a one-piece scope mount machined from lightweight aluminum with a low-glare matte black finish. Engineered specifically for the Encore platform, this cross-slot base provides a secure, repeatable mounting platform for rifle scopes on your Thompson Center Arms firearm.

Built to factory Encore scope-base spacing, the 2040R fits the Encore and ProHunter rifles and muzzleloaders, and is also compatible with Contender barrels when those barrels are mounted in an Encore frame. The cross-slot design accepts standard cross-slot scope rings, giving shooters a sturdy optic-mounting solution for hunting, target, or muzzleloader applications.
