The Sig Sauer Zulu8 HDX is a rugged, premium binocular built around a closed-bridge Schmidt-Pechan prism and Sig Sauer's HDX high-definition glass system. In the versatile 10x50mm prescription, it pairs long-pull magnification with strong light-gathering ability and a wide 6.6-degree field of view, making it well suited to hunters who need a single optic for everything from dawn scouting to mid-day glassing.
Optical performance is anchored by a stack of premium protective coatings: LensArmor, LenShield, and SpectraCoat, paired with the HDX glass prescription to deliver a bright, high-contrast image with accurate color rendition and crisp edge-to-edge clarity. A 6.6 ft short focus lets the Zulu8 HDX pull in close-range detail for tight tree-stand and blind work.
Construction centers on a reinforced aluminum housing wrapped in revamped rubber armor finished in Flat Dark Earth, giving the binocular a secure grip, drop protection, and a low-visibility field finish. The body is sealed to be waterproof and fogproof, so internal optics stay clear through rain, snow, and temperature swings. 3-position adjustable twist-up eyecups and 16mm of eye relief keep the view comfortable for extended glassing sessions, with or without glasses.
At 1.50 lb with dimensions of 6.41 in L x 2.36 in H, the Zulu8 HDX is compact enough for long days afield yet substantial enough to steady on glassing rests. A molded EVA carrying case is included to protect the optic in transport and storage.
