Shield Sights SMS2 Glass Edition 4 MOA Red Dot Reflex Sight

The Shield Sights SMS2 Glass Edition builds on the proven Shield Mini Sight platform with a tougher, more scratch-resistant lens while keeping the same compact, low-profile footprint that has made the original a favorite for concealed-carry and duty pistols.

At its core is a single 4 MOA red dot projected from a red LED emitter. An integrated ambient-light sensor automatically adjusts dot brightness to match shooting conditions, so the reticle stays visible in low light and dims down in bright sun without manual input. The D-shaped glass lens is parallax-free, giving a clean, distortion-free sight picture across the entire window.

The SMS2 housing is molded from nylon glass-filled polymer, a material Shield Sights selected for its combination of strength and light weight. The optic uses the standard SMS footprint, allowing it to mount directly to any slide or plate machined for the SMS or RMS pattern. Power is supplied by a single CR2032 3V lithium battery rated for 1-3 years of average use.

Designed primarily as a pistol optic, the SMS2 Glass Edition is equally at home on subcompact concealed-carry slides and full-size duty guns, and pairs well with co-witness or suppressor-height iron sights for a complete aiming system.
