The Primary Arms PLxC 1-8x24mm is a compact low-power variable riflescope offering true 1x through 8x magnification through a 30mm main tube paired with a 24mm objective. This is the First Focal Plane (FFP) configuration, built around the ACSS Griffin MIL G2 reticle and Primary Arms' RDB (Red Dot Bright) diffractive illumination system, which projects a daylight-bright aiming point using diffractive optics rather than a traditional LED reticle.
Because the Griffin MIL G2 lives in the first focal plane, every subtension stays true at every magnification setting. The reticle layers a fast-acquisition horseshoe and chevron center over a full MIL grid with vertical and horizontal hash stadia and a MIL ranging scale, so a snap 1x close-quarters shot and an 8x hold at distance share the same reference. The RDB diffractive technology lights the center aiming point for a crisp red dot that stays visible even in bright daylight.
Optically, the PLxC uses premium Japanese ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass for high-contrast, color-true imagery edge to edge. The 30mm main tube provides generous elevation and windage travel for dialing out to distance while keeping the overall housing compact enough for an AR-height mount or a one-piece offset ring setup. This configuration ships finished in Flat Dark Earth (FDE) and is backed by Primary Arms' lifetime warranty. Listed weight is approximately 16.95 oz.
Versatile enough to serve as a primary optic on an AR-15, patrol carbine, or lightweight precision bolt gun, the PLxC 1-8x24 brings true 1x snap-shoot capability, reliable 8x dialing, and a daylight-visible reticle together in a compact, lightweight housing built around real ED glass.
