The DNT Optics HS225 Hydra is a versatile multi-function thermal scope that pulls triple duty as a standalone riflescope, a clip-on thermal in front of an existing day optic, or a handheld thermal monocular — a true 3-in-1 platform engineered around a compact thermal core.

At its heart sits an uncooled 256x192 thermal sensor built on a 12μm pixel pitch with a sensitivity rating of ≤25mK NETD, paired with a fast 25mm objective lens and 3-12x magnification for both wide-area scanning and detail work at distance. A smooth 50 FPS refresh rate keeps moving targets easy to track, and the image is rendered on a crisp 1024x768 micro-OLED display.

The Hydra housing is CNC machined from aircraft-grade aluminum for rugged field use without bulk, tipping the scales at just 13.1 oz. A built-in One Shot Zero feature simplifies sight-in, and the internal battery delivers up to 5.5 hours of continuous runtime for full evenings of use. Finished in Black, the HS225 is purpose-built for hunting and shooting applications in low-light and nighttime conditions.
