The Bushnell R3 is a purpose-built rimfire riflescope designed for .22 LR platforms, delivering a versatile magnification range on a compact, lightweight 1-inch tube. The 4-12x40 configuration pairs a 40mm objective with a smooth magnification ring, giving rimfire shooters and small-game hunters the reach they need for longer shots without weighing down a favorite .22 rifle.

At the heart of the optic is the Drop Zone 22 (DZ22) BDC reticle, calibrated specifically for the trajectory of .22 LR ammunition. Holdover stadia below the center crosshair provide fast, intuitive aiming points for common rimfire distances, allowing the shooter to either dial for elevation or simply hold over and stay on target. The reticle is housed in the second focal plane (SFP), so the reticle pattern maintains the same visual size across the entire 4-12x magnification range.

The one-piece 1" main tube is machined from aluminum and finished in a durable matte black anodized coating that resists glare and stands up to rimfire recoil season after season.
