The Sig Sauer Electro-Optics Romeo-X Enclosed Compact is a rugged, fully enclosed-emitter reflex sight built for duty, defensive, and concealed-carry pistol use. Inspired by the MIL-SPEC ROMEO-M17, the Romeo-X pairs a low deck height for easy iron-sight co-witness with a sealed optical system that shrugs off weather and rough handling.

The sight sits in a 7075 aluminum housing paired with a distortion-free aspherical lens, delivering a clean sight picture with no blue tint. The optical cavity is argon purged and sealed against the elements, so the unit will not fog under temperature swings or wet conditions. At just 1.67 in long with a 1x24mm objective window, the Compact mounts directly to any slide cut for the standard RX footprint and tucks cleanly into a carry-ready pistol slide.

The 6 MOA green dot reticle picks up fast at the draw and stays easy to track for both close-quarters work and longer-range engagements. MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination) powers the optic up when it senses movement and shuts it down during inactivity to preserve battery life. The unit runs on a side-loading CR1632 battery that can be swapped without removing the sight or disturbing zero.
