At its core is a multi-LED array providing 23, 28, 57, and 76 lumen outputs from a high-output white LED for general navigation, close-quarters work, and signaling. The same housing also delivers mission-specific colors including red, green, blue, and IR (infrared) LEDs, preserving dark-adapted vision, providing low-signature map light, and pairing with night vision devices.

Power flexibility is built in: the Sidewinder Stalk accepts either a single CR123A or AA battery, letting the operator run whichever cell is on hand without a second light.
