Strike Industries AR-10 Enhanced Bolt Catch 8620 Steel Matte Black

The Strike Industries AR-10 Enhanced Bolt Catch is a drop-in upgrade for AR-10 pattern rifles, machined from solid 8620 steel (AISI 8620) with a rugged matte black finish. It replaces the factory bolt catch lever with an enlarged, contoured paddle that gives the operator substantially more surface area to engage, making it faster and easier to lock the bolt to the rear or release it without breaking your firing grip.

The extra-wide lower paddle features deep grooves for positive grip, even with gloved or wet hands, while the hardened 8620 steel construction stands up to the heavier recoil and spring tension of .308/7.62x51 AR-10 platforms. The matte finish blends with most factory and aftermarket lower receivers and resists wear from repeated contact with the magazine.

This enhanced bolt catch is designed as a direct replacement for the factory component and is compatible with AR-10 DPMS / LR-308 and SR-25 pattern lower receivers, the Aero Precision M5, and the MEGA Maten Billet Ambi Receiver. It is not compatible with some billet lower receivers that lack the Mil-Spec bolt catch geometry. Installation uses the existing roll pin and spring.
