The Kynshot RB5020SS is a short stroke hydraulic recoil buffer purpose-built for 9mm AR-9 pistol-caliber carbines configured with an A1 or A2 rifle-length fixed stock (internal buffer-tube depth 9.5"). Developed for the competitive PCC shooter, the RB5020SS uses Kynshot's patented hydraulic shock-absorption technology with a heavier, longer short-stroke profile that shortens bolt travel, softens felt recoil, and speeds up follow-up shots.

The buffer body is machined from 17-4 stainless steel and sealed with Mil-Spec hydraulic fluid and seals, giving it an ambient operating temperature range of -30°F to +150°F. It weighs 7.7 ounces, measures 5.81" overall (compressing to 5.3"), and runs at a buffer diameter of 0.75". Dropped into a standard AR-15 carbine buffer tube, the short-stroke design trims roughly 1.3" off bolt travel, delivering the faster, smoother action competitive PCC shooters want.
