The KGM Suppressors Quick Detach Flash Brake is a steel muzzle device finished in black nitride, giving it a hard, corrosion-resistant surface with a low-glare appearance. The quick-detach (QD) design lets the brake serve a dual role: it threads onto a host barrel as a stand-alone flash brake and provides a secure mounting interface for a compatible KGM suppressor that can be removed by hand.

Installation uses a standard 1/2x28 thread pattern. The QD interface is compatible with KGM's R556, R556A1, R556A2, R30A1, and R30A2 suppressor series, so a single muzzle device can cover both unsuppressed and suppressed use. The nitride finish is a surface-hardening treatment that resists wear from repeated suppressor mounting cycles and holds up to field use.
