The American Precision Arms Gen 4 Fat Bastard is a 6mm self-timing muzzle brake engineered to deliver one of the flattest shooting platforms in APA's brake lineup. Cut from bar stock and finished in a tough Nitride coating, the Gen 4 carries forward the proven Fat Bastard recoil-taming reputation while introducing APA's refined fourth-generation port geometry.

This 6mm variant uses a 5/8"x24 thread pattern, measures 3.30" overall, and features a 1.10" diameter blast body. APA's signature self-timing design uses a tapered muzzle seat to index the brake to the barrel, eliminating the need for crush washers or peel washers and delivering repeatable port alignment every time it is installed.
