The Strike Industries GridLok Lightspeed is a 9" handguard purpose-built for HK 416, HK MR556, and M27 IAR pattern rifles. Machined from aluminum and finished in black, the Lightspeed keeps a slim, snag-resistant 1.57" outer diameter profile while offering full-length M-LOK attachment slots for lights, lasers, foregrips, and other accessories around the circumference of the tube.

The defining feature of the GridLok family is its quick-detach (QD) locking system, designed for a fast, tool-free handguard swap that does not disturb the barrel nut or barrel alignment. That makes the Lightspeed an especially strong fit for law enforcement and special operations users, as well as civilian shooters who want to reconfigure the front end of their HK-pattern rifle quickly on the bench or in the field.
