The Midwest Industries MICRL30815 is a 15" free-float combat handguard purpose-built for the AR-308 and LR-308 platforms on the DPMS Low mounting pattern. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a rugged black hardcoat anodized coating, this rail delivers the strength and corrosion resistance needed for serious .308 builds while keeping the chassis light and easy to handle.

At the heart of the Combat Rail design is a patented 4140 heat-treated torque plate that locks the handguard up against the upper receiver with no shift under recoil or hard use. Three sides of the rail are lined with M-LOK accessory slots, giving you a clean, modular mounting surface for lights, lasers, grips, and bipods without the bulk of a full-length Picatinny wrap. A 5-slot polymer M-LOK rail section is included so you can drop in a short Picatinny attachment point wherever you need it.

For sling attachment, the MICRL30815 features five anti-rotation QD sockets positioned around the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, letting you run push-button swivel sling mounts without interfering with your support hand. Every edge is fully dehorned and deburred for comfortable handling, and the entire handguard measures 15" x 1.75" x 2.2".
